final fantasy VII-2 the sequel

i was readin my ps magizine and it said once ffx-2 came out they would have the sequel to ffvii.
the sequel is where cloud and the whole gang gets back together

ehhh, FFVII wasn't that great in my opinion. The story was not SO good in comparison to other FF's but it was a good game overall. A good first step into the 3d world. The characters had minimal development and i didn't feel i knew them as well as i did characters from say, FFVI or FFX.

But, of course i'm going to play it somehow haha.

I really liked FFVII.
It was good, mindless fun. I don't really enjoy all the FF love stories that are coming out (especially with the spoken dialogue).
You could argue that FFVII was a love story...but it wasn't as mushy.
I really liked the conflict/setting of the game as well. It might have been executed a little better, but it was good for its time.
They could revamp the game.
I think that'd be even better than a sequel:)

uhm...

wasn't it supposed that everybody dies at the ending of ffvii?? how will square revive the avalanche gang?? wouldn't that make a shitty story for the game?? I mean, it would be nothing but an excuse to make a sequel...

Wow... people are thick these days.... Aeris CANNOT BE REVIVED OR PREVENTED FROM DYING! Not unless you use a hack or gameshark (for those of you who use PC or PSX). Another thing... People aboard the Highwind live. If you have seen the ending....

RedXIII is shown running up a cliff with his pups and they look over and see Midgar, which is really the only thing that was hurt by Meteor. And if you think that it was NOT RedXIII, keep in mind he was the ONLY one of his kind! Lifestream stopped Meteor! SO.... ish.... exactly. Aeris no living... everyone else does.
