do u think cheerleading is a sport?

im on the cheerleading squad and i think it is... its a lot more work than u think. most ppl think its juss girls.. and some guys.. just jumping up and down yelling but it takes a lot of work. haha ok im done. :sleepy:

*shrug* it seems like sport to me.... all that jumping and stuff requires energy too =d and some skills, i suppose.

yes it is a sport...i got lotta friends that do cheerleadin and they work hard as any other sports...

i'm not sure what circle jerks are true life, but if they are physical recreation and have rules and are done competively i suppose they are according to that definition.

if you have to practice for it than its a sport

I agree with angel, well I am one too. Its not just a bunch of airheads jumping up and down clapping their hands saying GO TEAM GO! we as a team actually put effort and work into it~

they dance and shake their ass too and bounce
great spectatur sport.

i think it counts as a team sport. like baseball

i think it is a sport..altho i really dont like cheerleaders..because most of them are so happy all the time it gets urking..[in other werds annoying]..cheerleading is very hard to do..it takes lots of skill..from being a picker upper person..to the flying people..

its juss like skiing..or wutever..not everyone can do it.. my geometry teacher makes fun of cheerleaders..its so sad..i dont think he truely knoes what cheerleading is like..altho i dont either..heh..wutever..i'm juss contradiction myself..

yeah i hate the usual stereotype that all cheerleaders are airheads and only care about looks and shiet.....a lot of efforts go into making their cheers and practicing
