Easiest Language to learn

in relation to the thread that alex made,
what language do you think is the easiest to learn?

i heard some of my friends say french was easier than spanish

their about the same except for pronunciation cause french is mad harder that way. if u kno one of those 2 languages then the other is mad easy to learn

spanish has a lot of tenses but u really only use like 3.

french is harder to learn at first, but as you learn more, spanish becomes harder because the grammar gets more complicated while french grammar is relatively simpler.

I disagree with this. Just because english may be the second language in the world it does not necessarily mean that it is the easiest to learn. English is actually really difficult to learn with all those weird words and "silent" letters. Take for example "Kansas" and it's pronunciation, add AR to make it "Arkansas" and u pronounce it Ar-kan-saw.

eh.. isn't it the hardest language to learn? i mean.. with words like flower.. flour.. and all those types of words.. errr.. wut were they called again?

i think japanese is pretty easy to learn.. spanish seems easy too.. haha.. but i wouldn't noe.. all i noe are the numbers xP

as for someone saying english . . . .
it's like the 2nd hardest language (chinese the first)
its so hard that when someone romanizes a korean song i can't sing it at all
english has too many variations on pronunciation~
and as for only 3 tenses, there is more than three tenses. and every language has more than 3 tenses technically
spanish and french just have a neat little system to say all the 16 tenses
spanish to me is alot easier to pronounce than french . . . dunno what i was thinking when i took that class lol
