intelligence
What makes someone intelligent?
If you think someone is intelligent, why do you think they are?

what makez someone intelligent...
well . . . i think they should both b smart in school and street smart. As in smart, i mean smart as in knowing his/her surroundings and using them for his/her advantage.
choices they make, and the way they think.
being smart is knowing a lot, being intelligent is how you utilize that knowledge i think.

What do you know?
How do you know it?
What are you going to do about it?

Those are good questions for determining the mental capacities of someone.
booyah.
there it is.
The smart person would only be able to answer the first one, and give a primitive answer to the second one.
The intelligent one would be able to clearly answer all of them i think.

I agree with you.
But, for the sake of discussion... what if someone is really bright and has a firm grasp on what he/she knows (questions 1 and 2)...... and doesn't know what to do with his/her life; i.e. what college to go to, what to major in, etc.
Does he/she lack an answer to #3? If so, is that person somehow less intelligent?
yes, that makes them less intelligent. They aren't able to utilize their knowledge fully, which by my definition makes them not as intelligent as one who can.

i think to be itelligent you need to knoe big words and
knowing how much vocabulary you knoe determines how smart you are.....damn i wish i could speak weel proper english like those harvard motha fukkaz i wanna talk like a wank
One's judgment of intelligence is relative to their own.
I consider people intelligent if they understand what I mean when I say something, and don't just take it for face value.
Hell, beyond that, not just when I say something, but in general. I don't like people who prejudice against me or anyone without some sort of experience towards their opinion.
