Double Clutching..

I know what U're supposed to do


Clutch, shift to neutral, clutch, shift into gear

but are there any techniques to help me do this better??

faster shift? all i can say is get a short shifter if they make it for your car. i dont know if they make short shifters for your car though, cuz i dont know wut u drive.

jus match revs and shove ur shit into gear....if u do it correctly.....it shouldnt grind...

lmao marvin, you can shit without the clutch like that.

but yeah, dont double clutch unless you're missing synchromesh for some ungodly reason.

well, I drive a '84 bmw 318i. and sometimes when I shift into 2nd gear the car shakes. so my friend told me that maybe I should try double shifting

EDIT: he also told me to match rpm wif my speed or redlining it.

WORD BMW....

well, my shit grinds if i mash it into 3rd gear to fast or hard.... i think my synchro's are shot, so sometimes i double clutch. Usually i just match carefully and shift slowly and smoothly... but if your gears aren't grinding, then what's the problem? Just slam it into gear and you're off... unless the car shakes after you've engaged 2nd gear. that's just weird.

yea, my friend said that my synchros are fukked up.

I've actually never tried double shifting ahha. so once I get the car back from my sister I'm gonna have to try it.

only time when i double clutch is when i got tight corners to drive around.
