california budgets....and school

good gawd. when i heard they were cutting back on education, i didn't think it meant this. today was the first day of school for me, and in every single one of my classes, there were at least 35 people. in most of my classes people had to sit on the floor because there weren't enough desks!! they combined french 5 and 6, and they combined journalism 1 and 2 - i couldn't believe how crowded all my classes were. argh!!!

i hope this governor recall thing works out and fixes this soon

Our school bus has too many people so we have to stand. We do not have handles to hold while standing.

hmm..the only class of my that was crowded was math..
but now it's a normal size after everyone dropped it.
we have about..3500+ kids this year...with over 1000 of them being lil freshman =/

my school is getting so poor that we didn't even take the Golden State Exam at the end of the year. i heard some school had removed what they called useless classes like Home Ec or something. that sucks.

we've been cut too.. alot more people.. crowded halls but worse than last year -__-; we have to triple all of are seats on the bus -__-; its about 40 people in our classes.. and now if we miss 18 days for any reason like in the hospital we have to be retained
