The symphony

The symphony

And they shout a silly medley
a cressendo of incoherent thoughts
knowing their own notes based fallacy
heathen chords that in my ear rots

A dirty symphony
they rise and fall to a indistinct beat
ever lacking in all their euphony
their strong melody always repeat

and the baritone blares its sound
stomping its strong opinions
so pompous and proud
declaring its obvious dominion

and the rebellious trumpet
angry air in staccatto burst
it blares all its notes in every aspect
and every note cursed

and through the twisted duet sing
a mellow clarinet floats on the air
to the last of the sanity she clings
whisper louder, she doesn't dare

They rise and fall to the songs end
higher and higher do they climb
to the climax where they blend
so loud and muddled in the prime

They Rise! They Rise
to fall off once again
to mope in silence despise
an anger in pain

Where they wait in quiet
waiting for an applause to drum
a cry for an encore, a riot
that won't come
