Beat By: Unknown
Title: Euthanasia
[Intro - Wayvelength & J-DraGoNz]
Wayvelength, J-DraGoNz (Yea), Chinese Import,
(Take a listen)
We wanna tell you a story of the last resort (the last resort),
A crime of passion that will lead you to court,
(But is it my decision to make?)
It's not like killing without a second thought (nah),
It's about love and mercy (yea),
But it's hard to know exactly the moment to let it go.
(So how do you know? I can't do it...I just can't do it.)
(It's not right)
[Verse 1 - J-DraGoNz]
Can a human being take life into his own hands/
Choose when to die; when to take his last stand//1
Take the powers of God to define his own destiny/
Change the course of his life just to forever be//2
Free from this place; from his pain and suffering/
In hopes to sedate his rage; his helpless being//3
I don't understand how one man can take the chance/
Sacrifice everything; die by his own hand//4
Can you imagine how his fam would feel/
To lose someone you love; it's really hard to deal//5
On the real, the pain is just so strong/
It's hard to go on knowing that your loved one is gone//6
It's wrong to give up on life that easily/
Because you never know; there just might really be//7
Another way out; another choice; another route/
Have an open mind; death you can do without//8
Look through all the doubts and all of your fears/
You gotta stay strong for the ones you hold dear//9
Keep them near, as they will be your strength in your time of need/
In times of struggling, they will help you to succeed//10
And endure the pain and all the hardships to come/
All the way 'till the end; 'till the hard parts are done//11
So stop to think and contemplate all your options/
Stop and take the time to choose one while you got 'em//12
It's a struggle to survive and you gotta stay alive/
But it's really up to you if you choose to live or die//13
So in the end, life is just what you make it/
Take it or break it, but you still gotta face it//14
Embrace it; take hold of your own life/
You're not alone; stand up strong and fight//15
And now time is runnin' out; it's the end of the road/
Reject it; inject it; live on or die cold//16
[Verse 2 - Chinese Import]
Meet george, just a young thirty-five, he had a short life line/
Brought in shot five times, including a stab in the neck//1
He never thought he'd have to pick between life or death/
Which one; He's dying by the breath; He gotta choose quick//2
'Cause His blood is getting thick; this is a choice a killer would gladly take/
Surely only a decision that God can make; die quickly//3
Or die painfully; die or live with a heart artificially/
He said to himself "that ain't no life"//4
But I surely would miss my wife; I know she can't live without me/
But I don't want her to live sorrowly; We'll never get to live//5
And die in miami; We were gonna retire there; Why I gotta get hit man/
This ain't fair; it was the hardest decision that he had to make//6
I mean, for real man, this was his life at stake/
Her look caused him too much pain; he just wanted to end it right now//7
Just to take away her strain, So he called he doctor to inject in his vain/
As the needle went in he felt cold within//8
There was a quick flash in his brain; the recoil felt like being hit by a train/
And in a minute it was all over//9
His life, lost forever; shame that he wasn't a Christ believer/
[Bridge - Wayvelength & J-DraGoNz]
(Yea)
(So much pain; so much sadness/)
(Our loved ones lost; how can we handle this//)
Sometimes you gotta know when to let it go (yea)/
When to give up the fight; when the time is right (uh)//1
Then as always, gotta turn tonight (yo); you gotta understand/
The plight (that's right) of those with the choice//2
To help those with no voice (with no voice)/
To deliver that fatal blow (the fatal blow)//3
we can never know (We can never know)/
we can never know (We will never know)//4
[Verse 3- Wayvelength]
Mummy's got cancer; I prayed to my God/
But I got no answer; she used to be a dancer//1
R-n-B coreographer; this could/
Never be the end of her chapter; is it murder she wrote//2
Well, my mom's not called Jessica/
I can write lyrics but I wanna write books like Fletcher//3
A murder mystery with no answer/
Should she stay; should she go; should I pull the plug//4
I don't know; yo, I'm sitting at her bedside/
Feeling her cold, damp hand through my fingers//5
The sounds of the beat reverberates; doctors/
Hands on the switch as God he impersonates//6
The nurse tries to hold her but she can't see/
She doesn't know the love this woman showed for me/7
To save me she endured nine hours of labor/
Now in an instant I know I can save her//8
[Outro - Wayvelength]
But if I do, she'll feel pain,
And I'll be a poor savior.

Well, I quite liked the track.
I like the way Wayvelength found the loop, could connect the intro to it and also found a bridde and cut it is exactly the right place.
Perhaps the intro was too long, but J made it more interesting than it was origionally.
I thought J's part was sic. When I heard it I was worried. I didn't think I could achieve a flow and delivery of that quality. I felt he really put some emotion into his verse.
CI was okay. I liked the concept of his lyrics. But his delivery still needs to be improved. But don't get me wrong, this is a lot better than what he used to produce. His flow has jumped up a lot. He just fell off a bit on this track. He's could be dope in a few years, he's only young.
As for Wayvelength. I thought the bridge sounded aukward. Poor quality on the mic also. When the verse started, I wasn't comfortable with his delivery...I found it rather...embarassing. But when he stood up to spit, I know he had in his mind that he wanted to make it as hot as J's verse. The critics say it was good, so he's taken that on board and thanks them all for their praise. The flow was good as usual. People usually hate his flow and claim he's off beat. But this time as in most cases, it was on point. The flow was another thing he was worried about as he felt the beat was a little too slow for him. Lyrically, he agrees with everyone else that they were good.
Overall, the volumes seemed wrong on the vocals. But everone tried hard and came out with a good track.
Keep it up guys.
