what are you?

Now that the holidays are coming what brings joy to you being the one to do the giving or the one to be to do the taking.



- Taking is always nice but there is that certain joy of giving to others, with the thought of i don't need anything in return.
I guess it brings me more joy to give then to take.

i just enjoy being wid family and all... itz nice getting presents like money and all but i could go wid out it

i rather give presents to people than gettin' from'em, i wasn't used to be like this but now that im more mature (haha) i dont' really care about presents from people... well but i still want presents from my parents though haha... my mom's birthday is 4 days before christmas so every year i have less money to spend for christmas presents well not that i have a lot of friends but... this year i have buy some cards and etc. for my co-workers and few of my friends...

Yea as i got older the less i can do without presents. I really like giving better now and like you Azn Pinoy Boi being with family and friends and the knowledge of the true meaning of Christmas being given the greatest gift of all is something that God has given me. Happy Nearing Holidays and Happy Near Birthday Mash1mar0's mom.

i like to give presents and make people happy .. i dunno, its sumn about it, like .. this year i like begged my mom to not give me anything and let me spend my x mas money on gifts for everyone else cuz i have no money to get people things .. she wont do it and i feel horrible .. i dont even want nething

Well, this is sortta off-topic.. But, not really.

I 'worked' in camp last summer as a Counselor in Training, and it was a lot of fun because the kids I had really seemed to like me. I hardly even talked to them unless they confronted me.

I felt some weird feeling inside that made me feel good about myself. The kids actually admired me for some reason. On that last day of camp, one kid came up to me and frowned. "I don't want you to leave." I gave him a strange look, thinking "Why the hell do you like me so much? I don't even do much for you." But later that day, I felt really good about myself.


So I guess it's better to 'give than to get'
Sure, getting presents for Christmas is a great thing, but to me, it's not as good as the feeling you get from giving, and of course, like the saying, "What comes around goes around."
