Yea i've known about that for a while.
Alright so like the article asked. How can I speak English without a Korean accent? Yea people need to think about that. If those children have grown up hearing fobbish english... that's what they're going to speak. If they grew up hearing korean... even if they attempt to say english words... it's going to come out like it was spelled out in korean. I heard that if a child is introduced to a language before a specific age (er... 5? 4? 3?), then they won't have an accent when speaking it later on in life. So, uhm i guess if you make your kids listen to tracks of french, they won't have a problem pronouncing french words? Eh.... i don't really know how it works...
[native] Korean folks are crazy... And they think the Korean American people are stupid. They just jealous. haha. ( i've had some native korean kids/adults in korea get pissed off at me saying that i'm not really korean. I don't know "my" language enough, I don't know "my" history enough. Excuse me.. I can speak korean and english without an accent or much hesitation so booya. I know my history... just not all of it. heh.... made me want to slap them and cuss em out.... in english and korean. what now? muh...hah...hah)
