3 inches away from major trouble...

... last night I went out with my friend, Mike, to go shopping. We drove our own cars and I told him that he was a slow driver. So on our way to another store he dared to race me to the store. I accepted and I was ahead for the first couple seconds. Then he turned, taking the longer route while I took a shortcut through the parking lot. In parking lots, we're only supposed to go 10 mph at the most but we were speeding 50 mph. (oops) I decided to get my car in front of his so he couldn't get in front and get to the store first. So I sped even more while he was speeding up also. I was turning into the lane from the parking lot and he had sped up so much that I couldn't get in front of him. Instead, our cars almost collided into each other. He was going straight and if I had not braked fast enough, I would have busted the side of his car along with the front of my car. I swear it was close as ever...

Now, thinking about it... I am sooo lucky nothing happened. I would have gotten my license taken away, paid some pretty good fines knowing that I have a couple coins in my wallet, and my parents wouldn't trust me for years... and who knows what could have happened to me...

wow u guys r luckyY, some people arent as lucky. Yea stuff like that does sound fun at first until something bad happens lol .. well good thing ur ok and kno not to do it again
