S/W button on Mercedes Benz C class

Has anyone seen this feature on the Mercedes Benz c Class or Benz in general? S/W button near their shift ?
I've been trying to figure out what it means/does w/ no avail.
Can anyone help?

i think its sport/winter


sport as in gear shifts at higher revs and takes less acceleration to deshift. and winter as in starting in 3rd gear and no upshit. well thats what i think s/w means. its an auto tranny rite?

s for summer is normal gear ratio blah blah

w for winter or wet starts the car in 2nd gear to reduce the chance of your tires slipping on wet pavement.

it's in your owner's manual.
