how did last names come about?
yes yes... i noe stoopid question... but i'm juss curious... i was reading this thing with people debating about how tran came before nguyen and all that... and then they said that long ago in korea and vietnam nobody had last names... after contact with the chinese, they adopted them... that's why chinese, vietnamese, and korean last names are the same... except juss pronounced differently... like tran is the same as chan... and troung is cheung... lee, le, ly are all the same. wut do u think?
