webcam trouble

anyone goto saram.net? saram.net is a place to video chat with other people. when i got my webcam, i got really excited. i set up everything for the webcam and everythign works. when i join video chat rooms, i can see myself, but other peopel cant see me. im on a network and peopel say thats my problem. is there a way to go aroudn that stupid network firewall crap?
