teach your webcam how to play tetris :)

wow this is tight. teaching your comp how to use a webcam to play tetris. saw it on techtv (by the way credit to them)

This article describes how to use a common USB Web camera, a personal computer, an inexpensive relay board, and custom software to form an artificial intelligence (AI) system capable of playing the classic videogame Tetris running on a separate personal computer.

The original "Tetris" videogame used an AI to demonstrate gameplay during its demo mode. The novelty of my work is the use of a separate computer, video camera, and relay board to better simulate a human player interacting with a videogame. The AI system will have no advantages over a human player as far as information flow between the game and the player is concerned. The AI system will "see" the video monitor just as a human player does, and it will "press" keys on the keyboard just like a human player.
