Wasnt Bruce Lee Korean?

My mom said Bruce Lee was korean, but everyone has said he is chinese, I watched some of his movies the otherday and he looks korean to me, what do you all think?

Anyways, I've heard that little rumor before... according to the rumor, bruce lee's ancestor's Korean. But of course, I think this is bull.

Well technically, every Chinese person has a Korean name and the other way around. Koreans call him Yi So Ryung because that's his name in hanja. Jet Li is Yi Yeon Geol in Korean just for FYI.

write your name out in chinese characters
then ask them what those chinese characters mean in korean.

OKAY.. first off bruce lee is NOT korean... lol

and second off... all korean ppl who have a korean name most likely has a chinese name too... unless your name is weird like mine.... and it's totally NOT a korean name.."soo jan".... my grandpa had to make up a chinese name for me.... i know how to write the first one but not the second... my name in chinese means .... "ppeh uh nal SOO eh ok dol JAN" sumthing like that.. "beautiful jade cup" .....lol.... yea... and names like "haneul" well duh.. lol.....

the meaning for the chinese and korean in hanja is the same, just hanja is a koreanized pronounciation of the chinese. japanese and their kanji is the same too, but they use japanese words instead of chinese for it.
