extra weight for extra traction?

well....winter is here and it's getting pretty frosty out and I have bald ass tires and I dunno if/when imma get new ones so you think putting like maybe a few sand bags in my trunk would be a good idea or just a waste of my time? I already slip around corners in the rain btw.

more weight wont make much difference....u jus gotta drive REALLY REALLY SLOW
