Random Drug Testing Allowed in Public High Schools

this is from FastWeb.com

Random Drug Testing Allowed in Public High Schools

In June, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that public high schools are allowed to conduct random drug tests among their students, even if school officials do not suspect any wrongdoing.

The decision applies to students who join competitive after-school activities – such as debate club, band and yearbook - or teams. Previously, only student athletes were subject to random drug tests.

i guess it's both good and bad. It's good for the keeping check with America's students' health, but bad because it's breaking into our privacy.

interesting....is this realli gonna help tho?
now that i think about it....it's kinda like police officers pulling ovr random cars to check for licenses and stuff like that. they can't just pull over random pplz and demand to search thru their car. same wit skools....so they're allowed to just pull pplz randomly and test for drugs. huh.
