Chusook Festival Pictorial aka Free Boa/Hyolee Concert

It was held September 27-28 in Flushing Meadow Corona Park from 10AM - 6PM. A free kpop concert for Nyokers.

Hyolee was interviewed by Yahoo:

"It was so comfortable since nobody recognized me in New York. It was a fun time," says Hyolee. For once in a long time Hyolee was able to have free time in New York. Hyolee who left on the 26th of August to appear at the 100 Year Immigration Concert in Fluhing Meadow Corona Park rested there for 6 days.

After the concert was over, she was able to use her time freely. She visited Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, and SoHo. She also visited Woodbury in New Jersey to shop for her stage outfits for her follow-up song 'Eve NakWon Ae JamDeulDa' while also shopping for presents for her friends and family.

Hyolee who has been unable to rest since her solo album came out was happy to shop and relax in New York. She was also more comfortable since unlike Korea, people didn't recognize her on the streets.

Hyolee returned to Korea on the 3rd and is restarting her activites in Korea by hosting another event on the 4th.

i remember when chusook festivals were gooooooood. the smell of bulgogi everywhere, ahjussi's ddrinking in the grass listening to ahjussi music, ggangpae deul smokin in the corners of the shadows, white christians trying to convert korean in their broken korean accents, meeting random friends(the best), and eating ddukbboki. now its 50percent chance of rain, singers cancel, and ddukbokki taste like shit. the best year.. when solid came out. and i think roo'ra was there too.. oh baby!
