one year anniversary~

it was around this time last year when jusun told me to go to his jusunlee.com site. it was a pretty simple forum and most of us knew each other because he only allowed 50 members. it didnt offer any of the newsletter stuff or even music files that you guys see now.
couple of months and servers later he expanded and allowed more strangers... err... members to join. topics included favorite foods.. favorite music.. and.. thats about it.. interesting huh?
then around summer time he came up with the whole music news thing.. original? nope. worth it? sure why not.. d=D i still say the name coulda been better.
anywayz its nice to see that the site grew. so tell me. am i the 1st member? d=D i bet you guys didnt even know this huh.. but happy anniversary jsl.com . d=D

hmm yeah i think i came here sometime around march last year. I don't remember exactly. Anyway, the first actual member, aside from jusun, was girl0verdose. I remember looking back at old threads like a month ago and remember seeing a thread about it. A year already? The time and memories have passed... I believe I was the 14th to join! haha... I don't know if you guys remember him buh I remember Aish (jsl username). he was cool and he was the first jsl member that I met... dunno where he is now ... but man, I never thought I could stick to a forum for a year...

yup thats correct. i first started this site around late december as a personal site, a community forums consisting of my friends. i guess i liked it better back then, i miss it actually. we knew each other in real life, and were more intimate with one another. i used to talk to myself in that forum, talking about my personal problems and finding solutions for them.. i wish these forums can become something of that sort, where everyone can be open to each other. thats why there's an 'experience' forum, so that you guys will be able to share who you really are. share some intimate moments of your life, will you? (no pressure, really). we can become one big family. =)

i still have the original personal forums hidding somewhere in the internet. for someone to stumble upon and find it. and for me to look back and reminisce the old times. it was fun times back then.

the kpop site officially opened on february 19 2002, and the forums on march 25 2002. you might want to read our jsl.com hisotry here for more information.
