same here, I always thought I was better at math, but as of my junior year I found out otherwise.

math definitely --

i jus took PSATs in october..

got them back last week.. got 70
(it's scored outta 80) so SAT-converted is 700-- my verbal... as i expected.. was not as high.. just 66 - 660

hmmm

i'm MUCH stronger in math - cuz it's something u can more easily train for - like formulas, tricks...
for verbal - it's more memorize a bunch a words but half won't even be on the test.

that is the worst bullshit i've ever heard.

verbal is more like to see if u can actually READ well and comprehend complicated reading passages.

it also sees if you can really USE words, not just memorize them.

so i WHOLEHEARTEDLY disagree with "memorizing a bunch of words." that is DEFINITELY UNTRUE.

Posted by Crazydeb8ter on 01-01-2003 03:35 AM:

agreed. verbal is much more than just memorizing words.

700 in math isn't that great its 750+ thats really something -no insult intended towards you Junjin's girl.
