My home girl told me if your last name is kim your really not full korean is that true?

Even if kim meant that you weren't full korean, years of breeding between families would ensure that you have a very very high percentage of korean blood in you. Kims don't only mate with Kims.

the whole idea that people with the last name Kim aren't full Korean sounds pretty ridiculous. Ask her where she got her info

actually.. kims are discouraged to mate with kims. depending on what kinda kim you are it was wrong to marry someone with the same last name. kinda like marrying a family member. i think it depended on where your great grandparents village was. or something like that. i know its something old like that but im sure most koreans today disregard that. but y'never know. you could end up marrying your distant cousin and have the same great great grandparents. hahahaha.
