The word "Hella"

I was watching southpark last night, and cartman kept on saying "Hella" The others say hes trying to be black. I never heard any black people say that, only asians. I thought Hella was an asian slang? Correct me if Im wrong. Wich i probably am.

heh yea..people from da east that i know say that "hella" is a west coast thing..and they use "madd" instead of "hella"..i personally use both..i need to cut bak on them tho ^^

true. "hella" is a west coast slang. i'm form the east coast and i say "madd" alot. but since i use to live in cali, i use "hella" sometimes.
