Reminder

hey.. i was wondering if anyone knows a good program that like reminds u when something is due for skool on a date.. like is there a program that if i put on sept 30 i have a projext due.. and the program would pop up and remind me when i start up my computer or ahead of time.... i always 4 get things...so i need one of these programs...
