Ties

are ties still in for girls? cause i remember when alisha keys constantly wore ties esp when she was promoting her album. i bought a tie a bout 1-1 1/2 months back and have yet to wear it...just recently learned how to wear a tie and now i'm just wondering if it's still in fashion? if it's not...would it look like i'm way behind fashion if i were to wear a tie today?

i never saw a girl here wearing a tie, but if i did i prolly think its ok! if you match it with the proper clothes it would look ok. as for whether it's in fashion, it was never the fashion here so i duno! girls here aren't wearing ties thats for sure...they're more into the ethnic hippie look now.

oh i cant stand these little teenyboppers at my school dressing like avril lavigne, wearing those ties dat dun match wit their outfits. annoy the heck outta me!

hahahahha there aren't girls like that at mai skool thank goodness...
but ties are gonna be in for a while cuz of avril. if u dress like she duz, then it's cool. or if u go realli preppi, i guess that wud match too. i kinda want one, but i dunno how to put it on. i asked mai dad and mai guy frenz like a billion times and i still dun get it -__-;

er...i'm definitely not trying the 'avril look' LOL...i'm much older than her and besides, that's too punkish for me. i was just thinking of wearing a tie with a nice matching shirt and a pair of pants...the 'preppy' look :P she dresses ok but i can imagine all the young girls trying to be like her

well, I don't wear ties buh I would wear a tie with a suit... ya know... like those women suits that look like guy suits buh for women?

i wear ties as belts... avril did not really start the tie trend and as far as i know most punks hate her and says she's a poser.

i just learnt it a couple of days ago and it's actually not bad i prefer the 'windsor' style though
