to answer everyone's impending questions:

no, they didn't mean to offend people. And, yes they were trying to be funny. They thought it would be very marketable to the asian market that now rather hates them. So, if you are going to dislike A&E now, be aware it wasn't intentful and they are not some racist company like so many people like to think. Calm down please, they aren't evil. Other clothing stores make shirts of other nationalities that makes fun of them and nothing happens except them selling very well. The same idea was trying to be replicated, but apparently it didn't work. An honest mistake, it was.

In fact, yes.

What I find "retarded" is people making blowing over a shirt like that when there are movies like Rush Hour 2 and no one makes half the fuss over the stereotypes flying around in that movie.

If you find it "stupid," then don't make such a big deal about it. I don't see people going ballistic over sex jokes in the Jokes topic.

Of course there are some of you elitists don't have parents in the dry-cleaning/laundering/tailoring business so you wouldn't understand, anyway. Well, guess what? I do. And I take the shirt in jest. People have to grow so offended over a double-pun and they don't realize the whole point of asian pride.

If you really want to make a big deal out of it, move the thread to the debate forum so we can mill over the petty details of political correctness.

i find stupidity unbearable. The joke that the shirt tries to make is pretty damn stupid.

stupidity comes in many different forms... that's what jokes are about.
