i think theres different ways to take out the icons... for shortcuts yoo can jus delete them and for tha icons that wuz on tha desktop alreadi wen yoo got your computer oo can right clik on the desktop, go to properties, clik on tha effects tab up top, then clik on the Show Icons check box and they disappear, buh i dun kno if its same wit every computer...

I have only 3 icons on my desktop. Everything else goes on my quick launch bar.

i dun like to put everythin on tha launch bar cause it gets crowded and messi, i like clean and simple

I don't know but for my computer it's

right click on dekstop
click active desktop
uncheck "show desktop icons"
