Spoons and forks

Is it really that unnatural to eat with a spoon and a fork? People in my Italian class say it's wierd.

what else would u use? chopsticks?

yeah i'm sure it's awkward at first. What's easy is your hands hehe, on a bamboo leaf! . Anywya, yeah eating with forks and spoons is awkward at first especially if you are illiterate and can't write, cause i hold the spoon or fork the way i hold my pencil, it can be hard i suppose in that aspect.

How about eating rice with a fork? Indian rice is not that sticky, but it's not that much of a hassle to eat it with a fork, it's really easy with sticky rice from some chinese restaurant or soemthign though.

yeah the only time i ever seen a person use a spoon and fork at the same time was when they were eating spaghetti

It is? I eat with spoon, fork, and chopsticks at same time sometime =P
mostly fork and spoon or just chopsticks is what I use.

hands are fun to use... i don't really get this question though.... i like chopstick... after i got use to them

Alright, people in my Italian class said I was wierd because I use a spoon and a fork usuallly instead of a fork and a knife.

I find it easier to use a spoon instead of a knife because you can scoop things witha spoon but not with a knife.

Someone in the class then replies "But you can't cut things with a spoon".
I told her you could just use the spoon to cut/tear meat and stuff.

Then everyone looks at me like I'm strange or something.

eat however u want haha hu cares as long as u feel nice and full

i liek finger foods lol

korean people use chopsticks and spoons
viets use chopsticks and those soup spoon thingys
my flip friends say they eat with their hands (dat'll be cool ^_^)
