I need help

kay, i REALLY want a scanner. but er, my dad's like "why you need a scanner? whatre you gon use a scanner for?"
so i gotta explain to him WHY i want a scanner, and why it'll be good to buy one.

so could you guys give me some good points about having a scanner handy??

usually, i could convince him into buying me things.. but er, since i never had a scanner.. i dont know what to say.

:huh: scanning in her pics? I don't care much about scanners (digital cameras are easier) but i know for a fact that mine sucks balls

Yikes... can't really help you on that one... I dunno what I use my scanner for...

cuz it'll save you trips to the photocopying machines, you can scan photos/documents for school presentations and projects... you can rescan your notes so they are more legible etc.

cause i wanna scan my pictures post em up.. and i wanna scan my drawings and post em up..

er.. cause i wanna scan things??

what i would do if i were u is that tell your dad that now a days u need scanners to do school works/homeworks/and projects

and last tell him that everyone else has it..that works mos of the times

i already tried the "but everyone else has it but me!" technique. lol. he didnt fall for it this time.

1) with the scanner u can not only scan pictures but u can also scan in other things like papers from school. u can than save these papers to a disk, which saves space and is easier than a file cabinet...

2) with the scanner u can scan drawings and then use techniques to color them in and create true works of art. besides, isnt it time i went more deeply into my artistic talent anyway???

3) With the scanner i can easily become a porn star with only a few naked pictures and a few clicks to the internet. this will greatly secure my financial future. wouldnt u be proud to know that ur chiild has made a name for him/herself at an early age??

i dont know... think of some more...

yeayea, you can scan in important documents. That way if you're filling them out and mess up, then you can just print out a new one (my mom did it before)

you could say that you would get a 4.0 or somethin iunno :huh:
