at high schools in my city, kids sit around during lunch and play....cards!! not just yugi-oh or pokemon (back then), but these days they're playing speed, bs, egyptian war, and - especially - big 2. is that just a thing in my city, or does that happen at your school too?

big 2 is priceless, we used to gamble every lunch over big 2

people pay 5 and 7 card poker, black jack (those 3 for money), rummie (is that how u spell it?), rummie 500, bs, ect.

if you guys ever watched that show "recess" and seen that episode where all the kids got into this card game that was kinda a play on pokemon...it's like that at my school!! everywhere you go, you see people playing cards. rummy isn't very popular, but i only played once and it seems really boring haha. it's like an old people game! we used to gamble with pennies for poker too, but big 2 is still more fun

today after the english final was over our english teacher gave us a deck of cards to play with

yeah, especially when all the ib exams were over for us our classes turned into pretty much nothing so we used to play euchre like every hour.
