And how is it not okay to see gay men??? I see them all the time... on television and in real life.

You probably mean, why aren't gays as accepted as lesbians? I'm sure gays would be as much accepted as lesbians if people accepted it. Know what I mean?

Nothing can be well accepted unless the people accept it. Basically, me, other people, and YOU have to understand that it's going to be here no matter if we like it or not... AND accept it.

you used the word accept (in one form or another) 6 times.

I think our society is comfortable with both equally. Gays are just more noticeable than lesbians, i think. What marvin said is a good point. I suppose in that way, being gay would be considered dirtier. so.... yea. I don't know the answer to your assumption because i don't think it's true.

face the facts, like Psycho said, we live in a world where the male is the more dominant gender... therefore the world is more inclined and comfortable accepting two gay females as opposed to two gay males.
