well i didn't traced it... i tried something that I learned in art class
it's call 'anybody can draw' which is...
you draw bunch of lines across the original work (so bunch of square will show up) and then you do the samething on the white paper
all you gotta do is draw box by box and when you are done with it erase the lines
since i suck at drawing i tried it that way and it came out like that
but still it doesn't look like original one though
i messed up on eyes and his hair

i dont care if thats with a grid or not, it still looks good and really close to the original
