Need Help Please

Well, I'm running on a Compaq Athlon 500. My father bought a 75 gig hard drive and installed it. (old one is no longer used) I installed windows 98 SE. I have had problems with my computer earlier because the video drivers for my GEforce 2 MX400 kept screwing up my computer. I THINK i got that problem solved, but the thing that's wrong now is that I get a blue screen with a VxD error on it.

The things that i've been told might be the problem are
1. A compaq athlon 500 cannot use a hard drive over 32 gigs.
2. I know for a fact that my video card drivers are causing problems(but im not sure if its the cause of this)

The vxd errors are always different. can anyone help?
