omg this does suck its been completely random in its horrible crud. i cant get a new list and it deletes the one i hav if i try 2 refresh. it wont let me play for 3 dif reasons it givs me. like its just ready or like it cant find a file bs. cant valve just program an easy upgrade for once this sux.
wat do the rest of u guys do? just launch steam and pick a server? i got no freaken clue why it says error CS is UNAVAILABLE. wat the heck does that mean?!

yeah mines does that sometimes.. it will say its not available but when i click cs again it will start up for me.. did steam dl ver 2 for cs cause mine did and after that it started to work.. last time it didnt work and it was slow untill steam dled ver 2 thingy..

u dl steam and steam will dl cs 1.6 for u just open steam make an account and it wll do the rest

ok i got the dl and ver 2 and cs 1.6
i am now tryin 2 join games and all that happens is that the cs background shows up then black and then back to the desktop. this is freaken annoyin i always had problems wit new ver of CS cant they make somethin easy?

wel u have the cs ver 2 and ver 2 of this other thingy... mines after i got to 2 ver 2 the cs background comes up wait a while and the it will have to black bars on the top and the bottom and it will have a button that says c-strik on it..... imma take pic of it later

damn i ain't play cs for a minute...i uzed 2 play it religiously 'n shit...especially when i had a T3 connection.

but yea...fuckin cs was at it's best before 1.3.

damn cheatin fucks ruined this game. no more jumpin around cuz bunnie hoppin fags, wall hackers, etc.

neway, like YaaMaKoh said, 1.6 is only in beta stages rite now.

seriously, if you say cs sucks, ur a nub. by saying you hate hackers and little kids, your just showing that you have never scrimmed/ played matches. get good and dont pub. join cal and play with a clan, not 10 year olds. get better and play cal-m. then u can say cs sucks.

also for 1.6 the galil is leet cause its like 2000 and has a good rof and good power. the only problem with both guns is their accuracy at long range. the famas kinda sux cause of 25 clip, which doesnt matter 2 much unless u spray, but its really inaccurate unless u have 3 shot burst, but then its kinda useless at short range. i guess its a good second round weapon over mp5 as ct, but galil is a reall good second round weapon for winning or losing as t. (if u didnt buy nothing 1st round) also the riot shield is useless no matter what anyone says because the sweet spot in the face area is way too big and its too much for its use. itll be phased out like the night vision and the duels along with just about half the weapons in the game. the smoke is all i found to be really helpful about 1.6 cause it will help with diversions and fucking with awpers in scrimz. well all the weapons look real good too with the new skins, but the extra frags for defusin and plantin are pretty dumb. iono why but all of a sudden in the 1.6 pubs every1 wants to suddenly complete the objective (before this version it was 100% deathmatch) i mean its a good thing but you get more mic spammers tellin u to plant in the wrond bs (nubiness lol) i keep hearing "plant b plant b" and then i go b and get raped by spawn camperz. (b is spawn, a is tunnel) another thing i like about 1.6 is that you cant see the dead/alive people on the other team so theres no more everyone rush and kill that last guy. it makes people more cautious. well dats it hope u like my review ^^

oo yah... one thing the shields are good.. they fixed the bug.. cause u cant get hurt with the shield on and now u dont.. and they also fixed the "Friends" thingy and also they fixed the thingy when u fall looking down with shields u wont get damaged thingy.. and crap... i like steam they can fix bugs easily.. o yah and i think cs with the u cant see whos dead when ur alive and when u plant and defuse u get 3 is because they trying to make it more realisitic or they just trying to copy dod

im getting this problem when i execute cs
it saids my cs is out of date and i cant authenticate with won servers. and i check counter-strike.net and theres no updates or anything. is anyone else having the same problem? ...
