i had adaware. its good for win98, but in my opinion its not that great with winxp. i ran adaware on my winxp, and it deleted a win file. i always got this error when booting up my computer and i had to click OK everytime, madd annoying. does anybody know any other ad elimination progs?... ones that are free?

i use Spybot Search & Destroy.

imo..a lot better than AdAware.

i cant get this program to run on xp, any idea why? after askin for the language and if i want to create start menu icons it locks up, and there's no info about it on the webpage
