Cloning people can help cure cancer and other things by helping us determine if cancer is a genetic anomaly or something caused by exposure to environment.
That's just one way. The replacement of cancerous organs with perfectly functioning organs (that will not conflict due to the same properties) will help cure cancer for many.

I find it immoral and disgusting
again, we are taking what we know a step too far into what we don't NEED but what we WANT... As of right now, it is illegal in the states to clone people, and it should stay that way... (should be illegal in other countries also) we do not know enough about DNA to do such a thing yet... there WILL be a defect in our outcome, maybe not the first couple times we do it, but it will occur some time later... we should think about safety first, if we want to create the super human with the ideological characteristics... I like nature and what it has done!!!
(oops, didn't mean to turn this thread into another cloning section)
