i'm not krn eithr. but in chinese i guess we're supposed to call pplz older than us "ge" or "jie," but i nevr do. it wud feel weird. mai lil sister duzn't call me jie. like, mai parents call their sibs jie, ge, di, mei, etc. and mai mom's cuzn hu'z 18 (i consider her mai cuzn, but she's technically in mai moms generation) calls mai mom jie...i guess in chinese, i dun see it that much out of the family. i hav frenz that call their sibs jie, ge, etc...and sum that call older frenz ge and jie too...but i dun think it's as common in chinese than it is in krn, for sum reason. or maib it's just me
