same with me, people call me by my last name all the time and most times it's the wrong pronunciation. The mispronunciations have caught on, so there exists like 4 different variants of my name that i am known by. I must say that i am not bothered by any of them. Wrong or not, it's in reference to me (same as a correct pronunciation is)

My last name is Sirajuddin btw, i don't htink it's incredibly hard to say, but not a lot of people have gotten it right the first time. I can actually count how many: 2.

as in physician or psychologist, they are doctors you pronounce it the same way but ppl are all "doc, dac, doc, how do you pronounce it?"
