bruce lee is chinese. i never heard that rumor b4. lee, yang, and oh can be chinese and krn surnames.
i'm chinese and all that bout krn and chinese names wuz very confusing...but makes sum kinda sense cuz oh jin hwan from 1tym got a tatoo that sez "wu" in chinese but thaz his last name in krn; and danny lim from 1tym got a tatoo that sez "ren" or sumtin like that...interesting
Yup... if Korean's have names that can be written in Hanja (Chinese characters), their names can be read in Chinese. Like I said before, Koreans call Jet Li, Yi Yeon Geol, instead of his Mandarin name Li Lian Jie (is this right?), because they read his name from the Hanja, and pronounce it in Korean.
Also the Korean last name Hwang can be translated to Huang in Mandarin or Wong in Cantonese just for FYI.
I have a korean friend whose last name is Chung. But most other koreans i know spell it Jung *shrug

Probably a native Korean name/word. That's why.
ok.. you COULD write my name in hanjja.
HOWEVER.. it wont MEAN my name.
like my name means "to twinkle/shine/sparkle" whatever
but hanjja is gon give my name a whole different meaning.
soooooo.. my name doesnt have a chinese charater to go with it.
k, this is getting confusing.
seonho, you argue with me one more time.. ...
.
hahaa jp. anyway, its getting confusing now.
