You've got a point. But look at it this way.....You buy a new car that cost $18,000. It doesn't need any rapairs of course, cuz it's new. You buy a shitty-old car for $5,000. On the way, it will need repairing and the whole works, which in turn, can add up to $18,000. So the both cost. The difference is one cost a lot up front, and the other, the cost comes in the long run.
