why do asains hate A&F so much?

hey whatz shakin?...My name is Daniel(check out my pix)And I wanted to ask why asains hate abercrombie soo much?(i know this dosent apply to all asains...but im thinking a majority)Ive grown up with caucasin kids and enviroment most of my life.And the few asain friends i have are usually the same.Thats why my "nuna" told me to go to this site to meet more asains. When I do go into an asain town or something I get this strange look from "gangsters"(or hip hop dressed) peeps when i come wearing Abercrombie. just wondering why?

abercrombie is pretty racist, in the news many rallied to boycott abercrombie becasue of a t shirt showing asian stereotyping.

from what ive experienced, i get a lot less service when i go into abercrombie. whereas other stores ask me if i need any help, but at abercrombie they dont give a shit about minorities

they boycotted about that shirt?...lmfao...and i didnt take the shirt offensively(we all sterotype...took it as a joke...laughed and moved on)...but im friends with most of the workers there and gunna work there myself...and i dont remember any occurances in racism here...racism's usually person vs person not brand vs person...except Tommy Hilfiger that i can remember....he quoted that asains dont look good in his clothes...thanks for your opinion

i like some of their stuff but im not like a fanatic... i like club monaco more... muhaha now THAT im a fanatic of... and about that "racist" t-shirt... i thought it was amusing.... asian ppl joke about that kind of stuff anyway so it didnt seem like a big deal...everyone stereotypes anyway...

there's a fine line between racial joking and racism..I think when it's produced massively it's crossed the line into racism. I admit I am ....I'm not going to say racist but......Racially selective if that makes sense heh, but to me having a "funny" racist shirt is just as bad as being a racist.

yes... they did cross the line... they should have known better, but im not going to hate on people who wear abercrombie... i infact have a few articles of clothing from there... but my whole wardrobe isn't exclusive to abercrombie, i take a lil bit from everwhere... even from the swapmeet

well it depends where you live as well. where i used to live, it was mostly, rich upper class white people.

i take it very offensively because the shirt is pratiicaly saying, youre a chink. asians do not have slanted eyes, wearing rice hats, and do dry cleaning. same if it was a black person on the shirt rapping or something, not every black person raps. the shirt would say to black people..niggers. if you think about it..its pretty bad. but if youre whitewashed, and you dont care about your background, then you wouldnt give a shit

nice point...I do care about my background, but its just a joke i dont think abercrombie's trying to rag on all asain's...and what about the people who do wear rice hats or do dry cleaning or the people who are chinese....I dont wana rag on them by saying the shirt reallie downgraded me. I'm a pretty easy going guy and dont hold too many grudges especially if the joke wasnt intened to be personal. And I think we all sterotype...even the hardcore peope who are agaisnt it.I think we should move on...but for those who wana hold grudges...power to yah
