1990

Most of those born in 1990 are now teenagers.

Dang. New decade of teenagers.

That FACT has been getting to me all year... just a thought.

well EXCUSE me for making an observation.

And no.. they are not the same people. when you turn(ed) 18, even if everyone disagrees, you feel different. 21... you feel different.... and even more so.... 13 you feel different.

13 isn't the same then as it is now. Sure only 5 years is the difference in my case... but that makes a world of difference. It's not as if NOTHING has changed for teenagers in 5 years.

Did I use the word BOTHER.... no i don't think so. I just said that i've been thinking about it, it's been getting to me... making me think... not pissing me off. And the point isn't that they're turning 13 ... it's when they.... the years...

DAMN IT, you know what. never mind. I try to just bring up an observation of mine and everyone turns up their snotty ass noses... thanks, thanks a lot welcoming forum environment. Good day to you.

ur too uptight..people disagree with peoples threads all the time. just because its urs doesnt make it any different...sure its random thoughts, but that doesnt mean that neone who replies to ur thread has to understand what ur saying..seeing as how its random thoughts..im sure theres a lot of things people randomly say that other people just wont understand .. loosen up and stop being so defensive...if it bothers u that much that people dont understand why it "gets" to u that kids are turning 13...then dont post nething where lots of people are going to read it

yes, exactly. We never condemned you for your observations, we simply offered our personal opinions upon your comment.

Maswushot is spot on. Don't expect everyone to agree with you. And don't be so defensive about it either. It surprises me to see you to react so strongly even though you are guilty of giving much more disparaging replies to other users.

fine i'm an uptight bitch.

How mature. you're right maswushot. a lot of people stay 13, don't you think?

Go on and diss and refute and analyze all you like. have a field day with it crazyde8ter. Afterall that's your entire life. But who cares right? That's why you respond.... because you don't give a damn.

Principles out the window... hooray for hypocrisy.

But right... "who cares".

Good day to you ALL.

note: maswushot is right again... no one gets what i'm saying and that's fine.

"1990, a new decade of teenagers. Sure we're still teenagers but beyond the safe point. As a brand spankin new teenager, you're allowed more freedoms but not with all of the responsibilites. We're approaching the point of no return... some are already there. It's not the fact that there are going to be teenagers... it's just that we can't and shouldn't be those carefree teenagers anymore."

Someone asked me to explain and that's what came out.

You're right, I don't give a damn about the topic because it is simply a moot observation. However, I do care enough about it to contribute an opinion.

Y'know what yall. When you find a thread you dont care much about... how about you don't reply at all. And you guys wonder why this place is going down the drain. Who the f*ck would want to post a f*cken thread about something they care about when a bunch of f*ckin pricks answer bitterly with their half assed self-righteous reply of theirs. No matter how much you defend your righteous-self of yours, there is still no need for such reply.

and Susan, some of these guys are closer to 90 than they are to 80. So of course it might not be a big deal. but WONDERFUL OBSERVATION NONETHELESS. the real reason why you ponder such a ponder is not because these young people are getting older... it's because you are. join the club.

going down the drain??? Maybe we need to bring some of this fun back? I was having fun reading this topic!

Posted by GinaDaQueen on 12-31-2003 06:21 PM:

You know what? I bet our parents thought the same thing years back when the 80's became teenagers, or 70's. We tend to think "our generation" is the best.

I agree with ken vs. ryu. If you don't care about the contents of a thread, don't reply. It's that easy. I think people think that the more posts they have, the cooler they are. There's no other way to explain why some people feel they have to post in every single thread with stupid messages like a single smiley or one word (that contributes nothing to the thread).

I disagree. Though I speak for myself, I am fairly confident that I share the same sentiments as the other dissidents in saying that this had nothing to do with post count.
