jusunlee: boa's 'milky way' was recently selected as the theme song of japan rugby world cup 2003, an event celebrating the 40th anniversary of tv tokyo. 'milky way' will be played in preliminary and final games, which will be held throughout tokyo until november 11. an official of boa's management company said this is the first time ever that a korean song has been chosen as the official theme song of an important japanese celebration event. the song was written by korean composer kim yeon-jung, who goes by the alias kenzie.

jusunlee: yoon seung-jun said in a recent interview in the united states that he plans to get married sometime next year. although he refrained from giving details of the wedding, this is the first time he has made a public announcement of his marriage plans. yoo, who is currently busy preparing for his album launch in china and a big screen debut in the u.s., was engaged to his girlfriend oh yoo-sun in los angeles last november.

jusunlee: former s.e.s member bada made her solo debut on saturday through 'live music camp,' a weekly music show on mbc television. she performed the title song of her first solo album 'somehow somewhere,' composed by american song-writer lindy robins and song lyrics which she wrote herself. it is a romantic ballad that is sophisticated and exotic. bada's album was released on october 22nd and has already collected 150,000 in pre-orders. bada is also currently appearing in the musical 'peppermint' with local music star nam kyung-joo.

jusunlee: lee ki-chan has returned this fall with his 7th studio album entitled 'natural.' since his debut in 1997, lee has strongly positioned himself as one of the leading ballad artists in the local pop scene. his new album contains a wide selection of genres including ballads, salsa, acapella and house dance written by top korean songwriters and lee ki-chan himself. for lee's fans he has included new versions of three of his old hits including 'the dancing tree,' 'please' and 'love has passed me by again.'

jusunlee: baby vox, who recently visited pyongyang to take part in a south-north joint music festival, said upon their return that north korea requested that the members change their outfits as they was deemed "too revealing" for the north korean audience. the members said they complied with the request immediately by changing into their more "suitable" outfits.

jusunlee: members of g.o.d returned to korea from the u.s. amid rampant rumors that the group is about to break up. g.o.d's management company sidus entertainment officials said they are currently negotiating the renewal of contracts with each member of the group. the members have strongly denied the rumors of their break-up.

jusunlee: three big names of korea's entertainment industry, lee su-man, seo se-won, and kim kwang-soo, were arrested wednesday october 8 on charges of embezzlement, tax evasion and bribery while in office. the three men wielded great influence in the entertainment industry. lee has been called a "star producer" helping h.o.t, s.e.s, shinhwa and boa rising to stardom. seo produced the 2001 hit movie, "my wife is a gangster." lee soo-man is alleged of helping himself to over 1 billion won of the company funds in 1999. seo is charged with offering 8 million won in bribes to tv producers. kim is alleged to have usurped over 4.6 billion won of company money for his personal use.
